Industria Meccanica
In the history of G.B.G. passion and the art of precision mechanics are intertwined, all at the complete service of the Customer.
G.B.G. was born from the passion of three families from Modena for qualitative excellence in the precision mechanics sector, and its name derives from the initials of the three founding members: Grandi Primo, Brogna Ciriaco, Grandi Renzo. In these first years the processes were mainly metal milling and turning.
The company establishes itself in the area and settles in its current headquarters in Montale Rangone, which house approximately 1,050 m2 of production warehouse and 160 m2 of offices.
These were years of strong growth for the company, which expanded its production sectors by equipping itself with even more cutting-edge and precise tools. The first numerical control machine was bought.
During these years the work focuses on the milling and assembly of automatic mechanical parts based on customer orders. The constant attention to high quality standards leads the company to begin a process of computerisation and structuring of an initial quality management system.
The high standards of precision, reliability and quality are officially recognised: the company acquires ISO 9001 certification.
To cope with the constant increase in orders, the company makes important investments, introducing a new production department with 5-axis CNC machines and 10 Modula automatic vertical warehouses.
In compliance with concrete sustainability objectives, a photovoltaic system of approximately 0.5 MW was installed. To support the deployment of resources used: the surface area of the warehouses is approximately 6,000 m2, there are 33 numerically controlled machines and a staff of approximately 100 employees.
There are six shareholders at the helm of the company: Brogna Ciriaco, Brogna Maurizio, Valentini Paolo, Grandi Renzo, Grandi Giorgio, Grandi Mirco.
